Product placement coverage is often limited for word count and storytelling, which is why great PR should also be layered with more robust story telling coverage and longer-form features so consumers can understand why your product is better than the rest. This can take time - but good things are worth waiting for and are possible.

2/ You feel a bit stuck…new angles and launches you communicate to your PR team don’t seem to be developed and never really flourish into anything that will grab an editors attention. If that’s the case - maybe you are ready for a fresh perspective and a more creative approach. A reset is probably just what you need.
